MRS. MINNIE MATSON

Aged Resident Dies at Home 

Mrs. Minnie O. Matson of 108 S. 9th St., died at her home at 8 a.m. today.  
She was the widow of Miles W. Matson, who died May 21, 1957.  Mr. and Mrs. 
Matson marked their 50th wedding day in 1943. She was born in Altoona, May 7, 
1875, a daughter of William F. and Rose (Plummer) Green, and was a member of 
the First E.U.B. Church.  Surviving are three daughters, Ms. Clara Thomas and 
Ms. Charlotte Koelle of the city and Miss Frances, at home; two brothers, 
Charles B. and William of the city; a half-brother and half-sister, Ms. 
Nellie Friel and Edward Green of Akron, Ohio. Friends will be received the 
Laughlin Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
