EAST SIDER DIES ON BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

Nicola Maurelle Follows Son in Death - Both Victims of Pneumonia

  Nicola Maurelle, an Italian employe of the Pennsy, observed his 35th birthday 
yesterday by succumbing to pneumonia at his home, 712 Eleventh street, a 
fortnight after his infant son died from the same disease.
  Maurelle had been ill for the last several weeks.  He died at 10:15 a.m.  His 
wife and several small children and one or two brothers and as many sisters, 
survive.  He was born in Italy and resided in this country for many years.  
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at Our Lady of Mt. 
Carmel church.  Burial will take place at Calvary cemetery.
