At 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon Mrs. Emily M. McArthur died at her home in Bell's Extension, on the Pleasant valley road, near Eighth street, of typhoid fever. The deceased, whose maiden name was Camp, was aged 42 years, 4 months and 5 days, having been born in Camden, N.J. Her husband, Thomas W. McArthur, survives her, with the following children: Norman C., John C., Thomas W., Elvin D., George L., E. Marguerite, Donald R., and Ella R., all residing at home. Her aged mother, Mrs. Ella P. Camp, with one brother, George W., and one sister, Anna L., are also left, their home being in Philadelphia. Mrs. McArthur was a member of St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal church. Morning Tribune, Tuesday, October 24, 1899 FUNERAL NOTICE. The funeral of Mrs. Emily M. McArthur will take place this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. The services will be held at her late home in Bell's Extension, Pleasant Valley road near Eighth street. They will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Allen Sheldon Woodle.
