McAuliff died on Tuesday at his home in Roaring Spring, death being caused by a complication of diseases after a long illness. He was born at Ore Hill, Oct. 26, 1887. On Oct. 5, 1913, he was united in marriage to Miss May Stuckey of Roaring Spring, who survives with one son, Dean, aged 3, the mother and the following brothers and sisters: William of Narberth, John of Baltimore, Mrs. Mary Spade of Watervliet, N.Y.; Mrs. Lola Fletcher of Everett, Miss Anna, at home. He had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and Sunday school since early boyhood. Being possessed of a tenor voice of unusual merit, he was a valued member of the church choir. He was a past master of Woodbury lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, at Roaring Spring. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, November 7, 1918
