Mrs. Margaret McCabe, widow of the late James McCabe, died at the home of her son, James McCabe, 1527 Twenty-second avenue, at 11 o'clock Saturday night, of paralysis. Deceased was born in England on July 7, 1846, and had resided in the city for a number of years. She was a member of St. John's Catholic church and was respected and esteemed in the community in which she resided. Her husband preceded her to the grave fourteen years ago and she is survived by these children: Robert and Mrs. J. S. Pastorius, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Eugene McCurdy, of Ashville; Thomas, of Johnstown; Mrs. Frank Halen, of Coalport; Mrs. Alice Holland and James, of Altoona. She is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Three grandsons are now in the army, two being in France and one at Camp Lee. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning, leaving the house at 8 o'clock and proceeding to St. Thomas' church at Ashville, where mass will be said at 9 o'clock. Interment in the church cemetery.
