McCACHREN.

  Mrs. Barbara McCachren died yesterday morning at 10.30 o'clock at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. A. I. Shirk of South street, Bellwood.  She 
was aged 71 years, May 7 last, and although a native of Lancaster 
county she made her home for the past fourteen years with her daughter.  
Besides the daughter at whose home she died she is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. May Butts of 1305 Sixth avenue, this city, Mrs. Flora 
Castle of Philadelphia, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Wolfgan of Port 
Royal, Juniata county, and a brother, Henry Goshen of McClure, Snyder 
county.  Eight grandchildren also survive.  Mrs. McCachren was a member 
of the Methodist church.
