ANSON B. MCCARTNEY, 

A former resident, died on Tuesday, March 10, at St. Margaret's 
Hospital, Kansas City.  Deceased was a son of David F. and Margaret 
(Coleman) McCartney and was born in the county.  He was aged 59 years 
and 2 months at the time of his death.  In 1890 he went from Blair 
county to Colorado, later locating in Kansas City.  He was unmarried.  
The following brothers and sisters survive:  Allen McCartney of 
Alexandria, Pa., Morrison of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Sarah Gregory of Akron 
O.,  Mrs. Jessie Armintage of Griffy Colorado.  In compliance with the 
request of the deceased, the remains were cremated and the ashes will 
be brought to this city and interred in Fairview Cemetery.
