MRS. SARAH McCARTNEY

Died at the county home yesterday morning at 5 o'clock of a complication of 
diseases.  She had been ailing for several years.  Deceased was born in 
Ireland and was 80 years of age.  She came to America in 1845 and five years 
later settled in Altoona, where she resided until removed to the county 
home.  Her husband and all her children preceded her to the grave.  The 
funeral took place this morning, mass being celebrated in the St. Mary's 
Catholic church in Hollidaysburg; interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
