Death of Mrs. David McClain.

  After an illness which extended over a period of two years, Mrs. 
Martha McClain, wife of David McClain, died at her home, No. 814 Ninth 
street, yesterday morning at half-past 1 o'clock.  Mrs. McClain was 
aged 61 years and 9 months.  Besides her husband she is survived by one 
son and two daughters, all of whom reside in Altoona and whose names 
are Mrs. Frank Goodman, Miss Mame McClain and Mr. Jackson McClain.  
Mrs. Jane Beegle, of Duncansville, is a sister of the deceased, and 
John Ginter, of Youngstown, is a brother.  The funeral will take place 
at half-past 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon.
