HELEN R. McCLELLAN

Of 1716 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., died at 4:25 p.m. yesterday, June 1, 1971, in 
Altoona hospital, where she was admitted March 16, after a lengthy illness. She 
was born in Reedsville on Aug. 17, 1902, a daughter of William H. and Bertha 
(Irvin) Brown, and married Harrison A: McClellan in Cumberland, Md., Nov. 21, 
1929. Surviving are her husband, three children, Mrs. Eleanor Kindya of 
Johnstown, Mrs. Louise Baney of Harrisonville and Harrison D. of Duncansville; 
three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and sister and two brothers, Mrs. 
Eleanor Wert and George C. of Spruce Creek and Albert M. of Newry. Mrs. 
McClellan was a member of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church and Glad-U-
Cum Bible Class and of the 28th Division Auxiliary. Friends will be received in 
the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home from 4 to 10 p.m. tomorrow and after 10 a.m. 
Friday.
