Those Who Have Joined the Innumerable Host Beyond the Silent River. Our Bellwood correspondent writes: Died, on January 5, 1889, at Bellwood, Pa., Mrs. Anna McCloskey, aged 52 years, 2 months and 4 days. The subject of this notice, whose maiden name was Anna Grazier, was born September 1, 1837, in Warriorsmark Valley, about two miles east of Tyrone. In 1855 she was married to John E. Irwin, who died in 1866. Five children blessed their union - L. W. Irwin and Misses Emma and Alice, of Bellwood ; Mrs. H. H. Bauer, of Pittsburgh, and Frank Howard Irwin, who died a few years ago. In 1870 she was again married to Joseph W. McCloskey, who survives her, and by the latter marriage three children were born, as follows: Mrs. W. L. Hostler, of Altoona, and Joseph, jr., and Roy, who still remain at home. In 1867 she united with the Logan Valley Presbyterian church and died in that faith, full of hope in a glorious resurrection, after seeing all her children united with the same church. Surely her work was well done and the seed that she sowed in secret has brought forth fruit in open day. Always of a cheerful and kind disposition, she cast a halo of sunshine on all around her and ruled her household so as to make her home a happy spot indeed. Although a sufferer for fourteen weeks, she seldom complained, and while she would like to have remained a little longer, she was willing to abide her Master's will and passed peacefully from earth, feeling it was well with her soul.
