McCLOSKEY Of Asbury Lane, Altoona RD 1, was pronounced dead on arrival at Altoona Hospital from his home at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 1971, of a heart attack. He was born in Altoona on May 29, 1929, a son of Eugene J. and Mary (Flick) McCloskey, and married Loydell C. Riley in Sacred Heart Catholic Church on May 6, 1953. Surviving are his wife and six children, Carolyn, Steven, Colleen, David, Brenda and Eugene, at the home; his mother, of Altoona; five brothers and sisters, Paul J., John L., Mrs. Mary Ann Donnelly, Francis P. and Mrs. Irene Schlecht of Altoona, and grandfather, Joseph E. Flick of Garvey Manor. Mr. McCloskey was a member of Holy Rosary, Catholic Church, Juniata, and Knights of Columbus. He was employed for the past 19 years as a switchman by Bell Telephone Co. Friends will be received in the Stevens Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Altoona Mirror, April 5, 1971
