MR. JOHN McCLOSKEY,

A well-known and highly respected Blair township farmer, died at his home, 
near Catfish, yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.  He was aged 48 years.  
He had been engaged in farming for the past fifteen years.  He leaves a wife 
and four children - three daughters and a son.  He is also survived by two 
sisters, Mrs. John Baker of Catfish and Mrs. O. P. Finney of Altoona, and 
two brothers, James and William McCloskey, both of Altoona.  The funeral 
services will be conducted by Rev. A. H. Shertz at the late residence on 
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock; interment in the Lutheran cemetery at 
Newry.
