Death of an Ancient Resident of Altoona.

  Daniel McCollum, an old resident of Altoona, died at Tiblow station 
in Kansas, on the 2d of December.  After a residence of twenty-seven 
years among us he removed there about February, 1878.  His son, who 
lived with him, writes that he was about 65 years of age.  He was a 
stone mason, and during most of his residence here he was in the employ 
of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company.
