MCCONNELL Of 1205 Fifth avenue, died Friday afternoon at 12.55 o'clock at the veterans' hospital at Aspinwall. He was born in Altoona on Jan. 4, 1863, a son of John A. and Jennie (Matthews) McConnell. His wife, Mary (Conrad) McConnell, died a number of years ago. He was a veteran of World War No. 1 and had been employed as a machinist in the Pennsylvania railroad shops. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Vincent Kattanick of Oneonta, N.Y., Mrs. Jean Griffith of Washington, D.C., two sons, Robert of Rochester, N.Y., and Joseph Exler of Altoona, and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Tierman of Washington, D.C. He was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic church and of the American Legion. Mr. McConnell reposes at the V. L. Stevens funeral home. McCONNELL - Funeral services for Charles R. McConnell of 1205 Fifth avenue will be held with requiem mass at Mt. Carmel Catholic church Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment in St. John's cemetery. Mr. McConnell reposes at the Vincent L.
