JEROME McCONNELL

A former resident of Altoona, who removed to St. Petersburg, Fla., two 
years ago, died there last night, according to word received by 
relatives early today.  The body will be brought to Altoona for burial.  
Mr. McConnell was 54 years of age and formerly was employed in the 
Pennsylvania railroad boiler shops.  He was a son of the late Francis 
P. and Jane Ann McConnell.  Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Blanche 
McConnell; two sons, Melvin and Gale McConnell, both of Altoona; a 
grandson and a brother, Francis B. McConnell, and a sister, Mrs. Mary 
C. Corless, both of Altoona.

McCONNELL - Funeral services for Jerome L. McConnell, of St. 
Petersburg, Florida, will be held Monday morning with requiem mass at 9 
o'clock in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic church, Altoona.  
Interment in Calvary cemetery.  Friends are being received at the N. A. 
Stevens mortuary.
