MRS. MARGARET E. (HAVLIN) McCONNELL

Who made her home with her brother, W. F. Havlin, and a niece, Miss Gertrude 
Bouldin McConnell, of 1421 Fourth street, died at the Altoona hospital at 9.50 
last night after an extended illness.  Her husband, Samuel S. McConnell, 
preceded her in death on June 27, 1942.  Mrs. McConnell was born in Halifax on 
Feb. 19, 1861, a daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Keagle) Havlin.  She is survived 
by her brother, W. F. Hevlin [sic], a niece, Miss Gertrude B. McConnell, and 
several other nieces and nephews.  She was a member of Grace Reformed church.  
Friends will be received at the Leslie E. Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this 
evening.

McCONNELL - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. (Havlin) McConnell of 1421 
Fourth avenue, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Axe funeral 
home with the Rev. Ralph Harrity in charge.  Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.  
Friends are being received at the Axe funeral home.
