Mrs. Effie McCormick, of 207 Crawford avenue, died at the Mercy hospital this morning at 1:55 o'clock, following an operation. She was admitted to the institution on August 4 Altoona Tribune, Monday, August 12, 1918, page 10 MRS. EFFIE G. McCORMICK Mrs. Effie Glunt McCormick, wife of Harry P. McCormick, of 207 Crawford avenue, died at the Mercy hospital Monday morning of peritonitis. She was the daughter of Martin L. and Anna Glunt, deceased, and was born in this city on August 17, 1879. She was a member of the Third United Brethren church. Surviving are her husband and one stepson, William H., and also the following brothers and sisters: Charles A., of Huntsville, Ala.; Ira and Jesse, Mrs. Samuel Hoffman and Mrs. Samuel Irvin, all of this city. Funeral services on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the late residence at 207 Crawford avenue. The services will be conducted by the Rev. C. W. Winey. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
