He was employed as a draftsman by the Pennsy and resided at 2105 Sixth avenue and was born in this city on Jun 21, 1889 and was a prominent member of the Second Presbyterian church. He is survived by his wife and four children, Virginia, Ruth, James and Louise. Three of his family are suffering from attacks of influenza now. His wife was taken ill Tuesday a week ago and is now in serious condition at her home from the disease and the shock of her husband's death. Two of the children were stricken with the disease in the past few days, Virginia being taken ill Monday and Louise on Saturday. He is also survived by his father, George McCormick of the same address and one brother Alec and a sister Katherine, both of this city. The funeral will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment in Fairview cemetery. Both the services and the interment will be private.
