ROSE McCOSKREY PASSES AWAY AT HER HOME IN THIS CITY. At 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the residence of A. M. Krick, 1406 Nineteenth avenue, Mrs. Rose McCoskrey, died aged about 45 years. Her death was caused by heart trouble and dropsy and for the past year she had been in failing health. Four weeks ago she became so ill that she was taken to Mr. Krick's residence, his wife being her half sister. All that could be done to stop the inroads of the disease was done, but unavailingly. The deceased was a widow and a dressmaker by occupation. She bore her suffering uncomplainingly and being a Christian had no fear at the coming of death. She was a member of the First Lutheran church. Mrs. McCoskrey is survived by two daughters - Emma, of Baltimore, and Mary who now makes her home with Mr. and Mrs. Krick. She also leaves two sisters: Mrs. Frank Sayler, of Woodsboro, Md., and Mrs. Jennie Filler, of Liberty, Md. Funeral services will be held at her home Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. They will be conducted by Rev. O. C. Roth, assisted by Rev. J. F. Moyer. The body will be taken to Woodsborro [sic], Md., for interment on Monday, leaving this city Sunday night on Philadelphia express. Morning Tribune, Saturday, December 9, 1899
