At 5.30 o'clock yesterday morning John McCoy, formerly of this city, died at his house in Ashville, Cambria county, of typhoid fever. Deceased was a son of David McCoy, deceased, and was aged 37 years. He was a member of the Catholic church and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and one child, also by six brothers, Charles, David, James, Albert, William and Frank, and two sisters, May and Effie, residing at 1308 Seventh avenue. The remains will arrive in this city at 10 o'clock Saturday morning and be conveyed to the Sacred Heart church, where services will be held. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
