Patrick McCoy, aged 72 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T. A. Pierson, 915 Green avenue, Wednesday morning after a five days' illness of influenza, followed by pneumonia. He was born in Ireland and came to this country with his parents, when but three years of age. His early life was spent in Hollidaysburg where he held a position of engineer with his brother, David McCoy, deceased, a coal operator, and later moved to Gallitzin. He returned to this city about twelve years ago. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic church. Surviving are his wife and the following children: John of Pittsburg, Mrs. T. A. Pierson and Mrs. John Grey of this city, Mrs. Alice McCloskey and Paul C. of Juniata. Private interment in St. John's cemetery Saturday morning at 9 o'clock.
