All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ WILLIAM HENRY McCRACKEN William Henry McCracken, of Newton Hamilton, died at his home at 7:40 o'clock last evening following an attack of influenza that developed into pneumonia. He was born September 20, 1855, and formerly resided in Altoona and Juniata where he followed the trade of shoemaker. Deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Newton Hamilton. Surviving are his wife and seven children, Mrs. Charles Seichrist of Newton Hamilton; William T., Mrs. Guss Williams and Mrs. G. E. Edwards, all of Altoona and Thomas Robert and Nellie, at home. Three brothers also survive, John and David A. of Juniata and C. F., of Lewistown. The funeral will be held from the Methodist Episcopal church tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock, and the body will be sent to Bellwood, at 10:56 for burial.
