He had been in failing health for some time. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles McCreary and was born at Manns Choice, Jan 1, 1907. Surviving are his wife Ellen McCreary and one son, also four brothers, Oscar of Imler, Edward of Manns Choice, Clarence of Mount Union and Ha[r]vey. Prior to his illness, he was employed by the General Refractories company at Sproul. Friends will be received at the John L. Carn funeral home in Claysburg any time prior to the funeral. McCREARY - Funeral services for Benjamin McCreary of Claysburg, R.D., will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the John L. Carn funeral home of Claysburg in charge of Rev. H. C.
