McCullough, Former City Attorney, Dies Attorney Charles J. McCullough, aged about 72, former chairman of the Blair county Democratic committee and engaged in the practice of law in the city for many years, died at 9.30 o'clock last night in Washington, D. C., after an extended illness. Mr. McCullough, a native of Altoona, moved to Washington more than six years ago, but had been living retired for some time. He was a son of James and Margaret (Grimes) McCullough and married Miss Rae Bowser of Altoona. While in Altoona he was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic church and Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Jane of Washington; one brother and two sisters, Newton and Miss Blanch McCullough and Mrs. Loretto Ivory, all of the city. The body is being brought to Altoona.
