McCULLOUGH After a lingering illness, being confined to her bed for three weeks, Miss Kate G. McCullough died at 1 o'clock this morning at her home, 1211 Fourteenth avenue. Further notice and funeral arrangements will appear later. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday Morning, March 25, 1919 MISS KATE G. McCULLOUGH A brief notice of whose death early yesterday morning was made in yesterday's Tribune, was formerly employed in William F. Gable Co.'s store in charge of the dress goods department, and in that capacity widely extended her acquaintance in the city and county. Before her retirement several years ago she had won an enviable place in public esteem which she never forfeited. Endowed with a bright and cheerful disposition and always more considerate and thoughtful of others than herself, her whole life was a consistent record of good deeds, and her untimely death will everywhere be sincerely regretted. Miss McCullough was confined to her bed three weeks, her illness originating with a cold and general debility. She was a daughter of the late Michael and Catherine McCullough and was born in this city. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. F. E. McCullough, of 1211 Fourteenth avenue, and by one brother, James McCullough in the west. She was a member of St. John's Catholic congregation. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock with a solemn requiem mass at St. John's pro-Cathedral. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
