MRS. SUSAN M'CUNE

  At 6 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Susan E. McCune, wife of John S. 
McCune, died at her home, 208 Sixth avenue, of peritonitis.  Deceased was 
born in Chambersburg, June 17, 1858. Her maiden name was Brown, and she was 
married to Mr. McCune, May 18, 1880, at Chambersburg, and shortly afterward 
accompanied him to this city, where she had since resided.  She was a member 
of the Third Presbyterian church and was much esteemed by a host of friends.  
She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Minnie A.; also by her 
mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, two brothers and one sister, Harry E., George 
A. and May, all of Chambersburg.  The funeral arrangements will be announced 
later.
