JAMES H. McCURDY

Of 2815 6th Ave., died at his home at 8.45 p.m. yesterday after a brief 
illness. He was born in Altoona Nov. 5, 1877, a son of James M. and 
Sarah (Johnson) McCurdy, and retired as a machinist from the East 
Altoona roundhouse in 1942 after 47 years of employment. He was of the 
Methodist faith, a member of Mountain Lodge, F. and A.M., Williamsport 
Consistory and Jaffa Shrine Temple. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. 
Agnes Fields of the city, Misses Rachel and Florence, at the home. 
Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens Mortuary after 7 p.m. 
today.
