McCURDY, Of 2425 Fourth avenue, died at 10 o'clock last night at his home of a complication of diseases following a lengthy illness. Deceased was a son of William and Mary McCurdy and was born in Altoona, Aug. 31, 1875. Twenty-nine years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Harker, who survives, with two sons and one daughter: W. K., R. L., and Mrs. C. D. Brown, all of Altoona; one grandchild is living. Two brothers and three sisters also survive: Charles of Altoona, Edward of Mechanicsburg, Mrs. C. C. English and Mrs. Edna Hider of Altoona, Mrs. Frank Lauder of Tyrone. Mr. McCurdy was a member of the Presbyterian church, of camp 54 of the P.O.S. of A., of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, of the P.R.R. Veteran Employes' association and of the Floral association. Funeral services will be held at the home Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Altoona Mirror, Wednesday, 5 November 1924 CARDS OF THANKS.
