McCutcheon, 75, of Skelp, Sinking Valley, died Friday, December 8, 2006 at her home. She was born June 17, 1931, a daughter of Rudolph and Anna (Susic) Rugh in Westmoreland County. On October 16, 1950 in Harrison City, Pa. she married Joseph Curtis McCutcheon who preceded her in death January 3, 2004. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sinking Valley and the Sinking Valley Grange. She was a 1949 graduate of Penn Township High School, Westmoreland County and enjoyed cooking, baking, collecting cookbooks and needlework. She is survived by daughters Jill A. Paronish of Sinking Valley and Cynthia L. Gordon and husband Willis of Reading; son Joseph M. and wife Vevela of Sinking Valley; five grandchildren, Meagan and husband Randy Sciarrillo, Rachel and husband Brian Detwiler, Leah and husband Paul Market, Sara McCutcheon and fianc‚ Shaun and Zachariah Gordon; three step-grandchildren, Amanda and husband Michael Stup, Willis and wife Maria Gordon and Nikki Gordon and four step-great-grandchildren; brother Donald Rugh and wife Helen of Jeanette and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother William and a sister Amelia Capets. Friends were received Monday, December 11 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at the Good Funeral Home, Inc., located at Alto- Reste, with Pastor Roy Garthwaite officiating.
