ROY B. McDERMITT

Of 2914 5th Ave., died at 7:40 a.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital,
where he was admitted Saturday, after a brief illness.  He was born in
Altoona Feb. 23, 1891, a son of David and Cecelia (Hudson) McDermitt,
and married Nellie Wolf.  Surviving are four children, Mrs. Esther
Lunghofer [Lunglhofer], Mrs. Margaret Schilling, Mrs. Gladys Garman and
Kenneth of the city; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and
three sisters, Mrs. Rose Reilly, Mrs. Helen McKenna and Miss Catherine,
all of the city.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and
Holy Name Society and was a retired plasterer.  Mr. McDermitt will
repose at the T. J. Stevens Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
