Death of an Aged Lady.

  Mrs. Catharine McDermott, aged 68 years, died at Johnstown on 
Wednesday evening at 11.55 o'clock of paralysis, with which she was 
stricken at 4 o'clock on the afternoon of the same day.  The body will 
be brought to Altoona to-day on day express and the funeral will take 
place on Saturday morning at 8.30 o'clock from the residence of her 
son, James, No. 616 Crawford avenue.  The cortege will proceed to St. 
Mark's church, where services will be held, and the interment will take 
place in St. John's cemetery.  Deceased leaves five children - Michael, 
of Johnstown; J. C., of Altoona; Mrs. W. H. McGovern, of South 
Bethlehem; Mrs. Richard Miles, of Elmira, N.Y., and Miss Maggie, of 
this city.
