Death of Mrs. Mary McElheny.

Mrs. Mary McElheny died at 2.30 Friday morning, at the residence of
Mr. J. G. Hirst, her son-in-law, No. 716 Lexington avenue, aged 81
years, 9 months and 17 days.  The deceased was born December 7, 1804,
at Perryville, Allegheny county, Pa., and for years was a resident of
that place, where she was married.  For the past twenty years Mrs.
McElheny made her home with her daughter - Mrs. Hirst.  She was a
member of the First Presbyterian church, of this city, for twenty
years and had been since childhood a member of a church of that
denomination.  Her surviving children are: Victor K. and John A.
McElheny, of Pittsburh, and Mrs. J. G. Hirst, of this city.
