ALONZA McEWEN

Died at his home in Irvona, Clearfield county, Pa., last evening at 
6:25, after an illness of over two months with a complication of 
diseases.  He was aged 60 years.  He was a member of the Knights of 
Pythias and the Mystic Circle and a veteran of the civil war.  He was 
an elder in the Presbyterian church.  He is survived by his wife and 
two daughters - Mrs. J. B. Reeder of 2018 Beale avenue, this city, and 
Mrs. W. E. Hoffman of Tyrone.  The funeral services will be held in the 
Presbyterian church at Unionville, Center county, and interment will be 
made at Unionville.
