All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ MISS KATHARINE McFARLAND, Housekeeper at the Logan House for the past twenty-two years, died at 8.30 o'clock yesterday morning at her rooms in the Logan House, death being caused by a complication of diseases after a two weeks' illness. She was born in County Tyrone, Ireland, July 14, 1849, coming to the United States when 23 years of age and residing in Philadelphia until coming to this city. She is survived by one brother, residing in Ireland, a niece and a nephew in Philadelphia, several in Canada, and Mrs. Charles Horsey, a niece, in this city. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel in the N. A. Stevens mortuary this evening at 8 o'clock, in charge of her pastor, the Rev. J. W. Francis. The body will be taken to Philadelphia on Tuesday morning on No. 8 train, where further funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of Miss Elizabeth Scott, 2307 South Chadwick, followed by interment in Mt.
