He was fourth resident of the village to die within the past week from the disease, which is widespread in that section. Few families escaped an attack of the disease at Ore Hill, where almost on-half of the population was stricken. George McGee, aged 34, died on Sunday morning at 4 o'clock at the home of his uncle, George McGee, Sr., with whom he resided since the death of his parents, over thirty years ago. The man's father was burned to death in an accident at Ore Hill. He was born at Ore Hill in 1884 and was a son of William and Emma McGee. He resided at Ore Hill all his life and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Harvey Burke, of Baker Summit. The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Isaac Stern, conducting the services. Interment will be made in Holsinger's cemetery near Baker Summit. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, October 15, 1918 McGEE.
