McGEE A former resident of Altoona and retired gang foreman of the Altoona Works, died at 7.35 a.m. Sunday after an extended illness at his home, 1506 Hillside Ave., Windber. He was born July 21, 1871, in McKeesport, a son of Joseph and Mary (Donahue) McGee, and was twice married, his first wife, Annie Stephens, dying in 1952. Surviving are his wife, Caroline Poet McGee; four children, Mrs. Ralph Miller of Altoona, Mrs. Bernard Lidwell of Ashville, Mrs. Grace Harris of Baltimore and Miss Bernadine of New York; step-daughter, Mrs. Irene Kellar of Windber, and three brothers, Charles of Altoona, Leonard of Rosemont and Leo Sarasota, Fla. He was a member of the Holy Child Catholic Church and Knights of St. George, Windber. Friends are being received at the Meek Funeral Home, Windber.
