DIED. 

M'GILL - In this city, on the 14th inst., of congestion of the brain,
Charles Eastes, infant son of Richard H. and Jennie McGill, aged 1
year, 2 months and 21 days.

Farewell, my mother and father dear,
Dry up your tears of love;
Farewell, my brother dear,
'Till we meet in heaven above.

Angel convoys hovered 'round us;
Silent and unseen they come;
Bonding o'er our babe they found us
Struggling with his mortal frame.

Now the silver cord is broken;
Free his spirit flies above;
See the heavenly portals open,
Safe he dwells in realms of love.
