A Pittsburg paper says that Charlie McGrath, a well-known bartender, formerly of this city, is lying at the point of death in the Pittsburg jail. He is suffering from alcoholism. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Friday Evening, April 14, 1893 Death of Charles McGrath. The deceased, whose illness in Pittsburg was noted in the Mirror, died in that city on Saturday. He lived in Altoona at different times within the last twenty years and was well known here. He was a bartender by occupation and was aged about 38 years. He is survived by three brothers, James of Philadelphia, William and Thomas of Johnstown, and one sister, who lives in Tyrone. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Monday Evening, April 17, 1893
