McGuire, Roots Crossing Tyrone R.D. 2, died at his home yesterday at 6:30 a.m. He had resided at Roots Crossing for the past 13 years. He was born May 27, 1877, at Dysart, the son of James and Isabella Carl McGuire. He was married in 1903 to Miss Anna Seidel. He leaves his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Irvin, Altoona; a son, Thomas J., Tyrone R.D. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Adams, St. Augustine; and Mrs. Alice Ryan, Irwin; two grandchildren and one great- grandchild. He was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses and a retired brakeman of the Pennsylvania Railroad since 1940. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Kerns funeral home, Juniata, in charge of D. B. Allison. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery.
