North William McGuire, 612 Eighth avenue, Juniata, died at the Altoona hospital at 6.25 o'clock Saturday evening. He was born at Canton, O., but at the age of a few months his parents moved to Greenwood and he spent all his life in this vicinity. He was a blacksmith on the West Bound Repair Track, being employed there for seventeen years. On May 5, 1913 he was married to Miss Leah Lampe, of this city, who, with two children, Ida and Thelma, survive. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. William McGuire, of Greenwood also survive, as does a half brother, John McGuire, of Johnstown. The remains were taken to the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Orr, of Greenwood, from which place private funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with burial in Greenwood cemetery.
