SARAH McILNAY Mrs. Sarah McIlnay died Wednesday, July 17, at her home on Locust street, Roaring Spring, aged 57 years, 1 month and 15 days. Death was due to a complication of diseases from which she suffered for about one year. She was the only daughter of Levi and Elizabeth Albright, both deceased, and was born June 2, 1861, near Roaring Spring where she spent her entire life. In February, 1880, she was united in marriage with William McIlnay who died fifteen years ago, leaving her to care for eight children. These children are: David, of Juniata; Jesse E., of Roaring Spring; Mrs. Clara Wilt and Mrs. Elizabeth Wolf, of Duncansville; Mrs. Pearl Ruggles, of East Freedom; Bertha, Mary and Samuel, at home. Three grandchildren were also cared for under her roof. Willie is grown up. Ethel and Russel while yet small will remember her as a kind, loving mother devoted to her home and family. Of the family of seven with whom she grew up the following preceded her to the great beyond: Samuel R., Aaron, Obadiah and David. Two brothers, Albert and Charles Albright, and 16 grandchildren survive. She was a kind, helpful neighbor and the memory of "Aunt Sade" will live as a sweet influence in the hearts of her many relatives and friends for many generations.
