Things Briefly Told.

  John S. McIlwain, for many years Pennsylvania railroad storekeeper in 
this city, died in Philadelphia on the 23d inst., in the 75th year of 
his age.  He was buried on Wednesday.  Mr. H. J. Lombaert attended the 
funeral.
