Oct. 23, 1965

Mrs. Phoebe A. McIntire of 414 S. 22nd St., died at 6 p.m. yesterday [Oct. 22,
1965] in Mercy Hospital where she was admitted Oct. 4, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Summerhill on May 13, 1891, a daughter of David and Cora
(Weaver) Dunmire, and married Arthur B. McIntire. Surviving are her husband,
three children, Bernard L. of Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. Betty Hack of
Gainesville, Florida, and Mrs. Gloria Thomas of the city, and seven
grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar and
Rosary Society. Friends will be received in the Stevens Mortuary from 2 to 5 and
7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow and Monday.
