Emanuel McIntyre died yesterday evening at 5 o'clock, death being caused by pneumonia. Just ten days ago his wife died of the same disease and since that time, Mr. McIntyre has been boarding at 1523 Eighteenth street, where he died after an illness of but two days' duration. He was aged 48 years and was employed as a salesman by the Gately & Fitzgerald Furniture company, Eighth avenue and Seventh street. He has resided in this city for a number of years, but little is known of his family. He has a brother and a sister residing in Lancaster and they have been notified of the death. The body was prepared for burial and is being held at the mortuary of N. A. Stevens. Altoona Times, Monday Morning, October 7, 1918
