RACHEL MCINTYRE Mrs. Rachel McIntyre died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock of a complication of diseases at the home of her son, R. B. McIntyre, in Blair township, near Loop Station. Deceased was born at Hollidaysburg on July 15, 1857, being aged 61 years. She was a faithful member of the Mennonite church and was a most excellent woman in every respect, who had a large circle of friends. She is survived by two sons, R. B. McIntyre, with whom she lived, and William, of Blair township; also by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. William McNulty, of Gaysport; Mrs. Julia Shaw, of Hopewell; David, of Hollidaysburg, and John, of Frankstown township. The funeral services will be held at her late residence Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Geeseytown cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday morning, May 15, 1918, page 9
