HERBERT H. McKAGUE 

Of 534 Hart St., Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly at 7 a.m. yesterday, Dec. 3, 
1973, at his home. He was born in Altoona on Aug. 14, 1906, a son of Herbert S. 
and Lucinda (Kalmbach) McKague, and was married to Ena Jones on June 4, 1934, in 
Indiana. Surviving are his wife, a son and daughter, Lawrence of Pleasanton, 
Calif., and Mrs. Marian Sender of Bowie, Md., three grandsons, and a brother 
and. sister, Bruce of Midland, Tex., and Mrs. Alta Murphy of Altoona. Mr. 
McKague retired from Appleton Papers Corp., Roaring Spring, in 1971, having been 
employed there since 1954: He was previously employed by the Pennsylvania 
Department of Highways in the engineering department from 1929 to 1954. Mr. 
McKague was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg, and the Heidelberg 
Club. Friends will be received in the Plank Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, from 7 
to p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
