Yesterday morning at 10.45 o'clock James McKerihan departed this life, after an illness of twelve weeks, death resulting from general debility. Deceased was born in Tyrone county, Ireland, on May 6, 1819, and was therefore in the 72d year of his age. In early life he became a member of the Primitive Wesleyan Methodist society, in which society he was a member for nearly forty years. Coming to this country in 1880, he united with the Simpson Methodist Episcopal church of this city, of which he was an honored member at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn their loss a wife and ten children - four sons and six daughters - all of whom reside in this city. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon from his late residence, No. 1312 Third avenue. Services will be conducted by the Rev. R. E. Wilson and will be held at the house, commencing at 2 o'clock. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, January 15, 1891
