Gerald McKiernan.

  This afternoon at 1:05 o'clock, Gerald McKiernan died at his home, 
1213 Tenth street, after being confined to his bed by sickness for 
about six months.  The deceased was a cousin of Common Councilman Thos. 
L. McKiernan and had formerly been engaged in the grocery business, but 
latterly was engaged in the sale of washing machines.  He leaves a wife 
and two children to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father.  The 
funeral arrangements will be announced tomorrow.
