David McKinney, who lives with his son-in-law, D. S. Burket, on east Allegheny street, suffered a stroke of paralysis Friday night last and two others the beginning of this week. He was in a helpless condition afterwards and until the time of his death, which occurred at 10 o'clock last night. Mr. McKinney would have been seventy-four years of age had he lived until August next and was the father of nine children, four of whom are dead, the last one dying only about a year ago. Five are living, Mrs. D. S. Burket, and Miss Belle, who makes her home with Mrs. Burket, John McKinney, Mrs. Gray, of Philipsburg, and a son and daughter who make their home in Kansas. Short funeral services will be held at the house to-morrow, Friday morning at 7 o'clock at the resident of Mr. Burket, after which the remains will be taken to Half Moon, Centre county, by way [of] the Bald Eagle Valley railroad, and buried in the cemetery at that place.
